My name is Jess Guim. I live in New York City. I’m an IT (information technologist). My hobbies include computers, reading, writing, and photography. When not doing any of these four hobbies, you could find me in theaters watching new movies of the week. I’m so obsessed by computers, that at home you’ll find me doing things in 14 computers scattered all over my house – from basement to the attic. I have servers, desktops, laptops, tablet pc, with different operating systems from Apple, Microsoft, and Linux. Why I have this much of computers and servers is because I’m using them for my self-study. There are so many things to learn in computers and networking. You could not learn them all in school. With these computers and servers at home, I could learn new technologies at my own time, and at the convenience of my home.
On weekends I love to go arround New York City to take beautiful pictures of the Big Apple, city that never sleeps. While on weekdays, I’m at work as a consultant for computers and networking. Then, if I have more time at night, I would scribble some story ideas on my tablet PC, which I would develop later as short stories or movie scripts – hoping someday that a movie script would land on a producer’s table and buy the script for six figures or more.
Blogging had been here for a long time already. But this is the only time that I started exploring the powers of this technology. Please continue visiting this blog site for you’ll not only see photo blogs here, but also some of my writings.
