New York City’s most visited tourist spot is the Times Square with an average visitors of 45 millions per year. This place is famous for the New Year’s ball that drops every December 31 midnight. This activity is being watched by thousands of crowd from New York City and from other neighboring places outside the Big Apple. Aside from these thousand of revelers at the square, this New Year’s ball dropping is also watched by millions of television viewers from all over the world.
The Times Square was named after the Times Building, office of the New York Times in April 1904. What makes this place hot for visitors are the spectacular giant billboards of advertisements, dancing lights glittering at night, and giant buildings reaching the skies.
